I am only giving 1 star because I partially blame myself for not having done my homework fully in the first place and there is no 0 star.
I am still angry and very disappointed that the “Dr.” Brown bottles which I used for my child 3 years ago were re-called due to their UNSAFETY due to the amount of BPA they contained in them. How dare you sell something you have not fully tested to be safe for newly born babies. This is unacceptable!!! How dare you threaten people’s lives like this!?
How can I ever trust this product/this company/this DOCTOR (???) ever again? NEVER. Next year, we will find out that BPA Free bottles were unsafe as well.
My recommendation is to use “glass” bottles. These were safe 30 years ago and they are safe still. I will NEVER ever use this product again. I regret very much that I did for as long as I did! I so wish there was a review like this when I bought these.

Baby is still gaseous. There is no noticeable different between the other baby bottles we have been using. Been using the bottles for about a month.

I am very disappointed in these bottles! First they are very hard to clean, after a couple of uses the cap turns orange and I scrub and scrub and it will not come off, and we clean the bottles immediately after every use. My son has been using them for 9 months and spits up all the time. the doctor says he will out grow it. Well, we tried a different kind of bottle last week and he hasn’t spit up once! Today I thought I’d try the Doctor Browns again just to see if I’m right, and he has been spitting up all morning. Do not buy these bottles!

I recently purchased these due to the recent BPA scare with baby bottles. I was using the Avent bottles purchased 4 years ago for use with my first child. The instructions state to not shake the bottle but I only use powdered formula and stirring or swishing will not remove all the clumps. When I finally gave in and starting shaking, formula starting shooting out of the bottle. I guess these would be okay for liquid premixed formula but certainly not an option for powdered formula which requires mixing. These are an incredible pain to clean with all the parts and confusing to figure out how to assemble. The nipples are tiny, thin and flimsy. I was quite relieved to see Avent now has BPA free bottles which I was happy to return to using. The Avent system is much simpler by design to clean/use, higher quality product and much more diverse line of products that are all interchangeable.
