The Imperial bunker on the forest moon of Endor is all that stands between the Empire’s total domination in the galaxy and their destruction by the Rebel Alliance led by Captain Han Solo and Ambassador Leia Organa. Even with the assistance of brave Chewbacca, noble R2-R2, and bold native Ewok leaders Chief Chirpa, Paploo, and Wicket the Alliance may not be able to stop the Empire with their Imperial Troopers and Biker Scouts. But just un case, the Empire brought along two blazing fast speeder bikes and a practically unstoppable AT-ST scout walker! My son is 5 years old and loves everything Star Wars. We have other Star Wars legos but this is the only set he doesn’t want to take apart. I do wish the colors on the directions were more distinctive. Sorting the colors before assembly helps. It took about 5 hours to assemble everything. This set has lots of play value and when I asked my son what he thought he said, “I love this toy but be careful because it’s very delicate and it costs lots of dollars.”

This lego set roxs! There are more functions than whats on the box. The ewok glider has this on thingy that drops rocks on the scout troopers. This toy is so much fun. But I would be careful with the sheild bunker. It breaks kinda easy so be cautious moving it. It’s really awesome if you have some extra ewoks and/or stormtroopers. Get this toy, but be cautious of the shield bunker, I suggest adding extra baseplates for extra durability. I recommend this toy. It has hours of fun. I’m 13, and it took me 3 hours to build, and it’ll keep kids happy. I also recommend buying Mythbusters DVDs and watching those, too.

First Lego set we ever had a problem with (and my son has dozens of sets.) The directions have you fitting two angled pieces together to make the base of a column (several times for several columns or pillars), but they don’t fit tight enough to snap on to the base next to each other. We had to modify the design slightly. Frustrating! The rest of the set is fine, and the walls blow out with the push of a button as shown, which is cool.
