Everything about this order went very smoothly. The only criticism I have is that the instructions on how to prepare the agar should be clearer. Our daughter used hot water as the method for liquifying the agar. It took forever to accomplish. It took well over 45 minutes, trying varying water temperatures, to liquify and then it wasn’t totally in the state it should have been. This is a difficult material to deal with. Otherwise, the purchase process was a breeze.

We needed this product for a science fair project my 8th grader is doing. I found exactly what we needed, quickly, easily and all inclusive with this product. It came with easy to understand and follow instructions, more than enough dishes and solution for at least 20 dishes, came quickly and was reasonably priced.

Nice kit. It contains all you need to collect and culture. The included instructions are very helpful. The agar on my first attempt only filled 9 containers, but I might have been too generous in my first attempt. I’d definitely purchase two of these again. “Waste” a kit for a practice run.

Great products, very simple instructions, but heating up the agar enough without it boiling was a bit of a challenge.

My 11-year old son needed this equipment for a science project. I encountered issues with some other vendors who wouldn’t sell to an individual (terrorism concerns?). Anyway, this kit was just what he needed to get a good grade and it was ordered an delivered w/o any hassles.
