Haven’t had time to built it yet, but read the instructions.
It is well-designed. The hard part is choosing which can to use.

Nice idea, but the assembly is very challenging. Not for little hands. Many small parts and screws that needed very small tools. My 6 year old couldn’t really participate in the building of the robot, but he did enjoy it moving around, but the novelty is brief. Likewise the construction is not very durable.

My son and I put this robot together, and after all our work, it doesn’t work. After an hour of work, we were finally finished and we put the battery in. It worked as soon as I got the battery in, but I turned the switch off in order to get the battery cover on, and the robot has not worked since then. In other words, we put it together correctly, but either the switch or some of the wiring was damaged.
In addition, the screws are tiny and strip easily, and they must be tightened in order for the robot to work.
It is very disappointing to a child to work that hard just to have it break in the end.

We have already lost one bolt and and can not re connect the arm. While my 9 yr old enjoyed putting this together, the overall finished product was flimsy and it is not to be “played” with.

We liked this little robot, he doesn’t make a whole lot of noise like the bug one, and he moves with ease across the floor. You’ll need a tiny screwdriver for assembly, and you may need to trim the straw arms.
